The Pafos (Kissonerga) Marine Development Project is a strategic initiative by the Republic of Cyprus to enhance nautical and cruise tourism through a comprehensive marine infrastructure development on a 165,628 sq.m. government-owned site in Kissonerga, Pafos. This DBFOT (Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Transfer) concession, spanning 55 years, encompasses a marina with capacity for 1,000 recreational vessel berths (70-80% wet and 20-30% dry), integrated residential and commercial spaces, optional hotel facilities, and potential infrastructure for accommodating luxury cruise ships. The project aligns with urban planning approvals from January 2023 and aims to integrate seamlessly with the local environment while adhering to modern sustainability standards.
